Three Guys and a Cleaner Block

I walked out of LINK today to find three of our guys doing a super detailed cleanup of the property next to HRC!

They didn’t ask for pay. They were simply doing it because they care about HRC, our neighborhood, and helping us continue our mission of being good neighbors in this community. I ended up paying them anyway, out of pure gratitude for their initiative, pride, and willingness to serve others without being asked.

I always post our tagline, “Dare to Hope,” and this gave me a real dose of that hope today.

This is what community should look like. People caring for the spaces around them. People taking ownership. People helping because they want to, not because they have to.

Moments like this remind me that transformation is happening every single day, often in quiet ways the world never sees. I’m incredibly grateful I got to witness it today.
