One of the greatest gifts of the work at HRC is getting to witness life transformation happen right in front of us.
This year has been incredible, watching Tim and Brent continue to rebuild their lives, lead others, and step into purpose and community. Tim just celebrated 9 months of sobriety and Brent celebrated 15 months!
These aren’t just numbers. They represent hard days fought through, trust rebuilt, consistency, courage, healing, and hope.
They have both become incredible leaders in our community. Tim serves as one of our service coordinators, often arriving first each day to make coffee, prepare the building, welcome guests, and help care for people throughout service hours. His kindness and consistency help set the tone for HRC every single day.
Brent is creating the amazing mural on the back of our building, bringing beauty, creativity, and conversation into our community while encouraging others to create alongside him.
Today we took some time to simply celebrate. Sunshine, laughter, friendship, and enjoying life together.
This is why HRC exists. Not just to meet immediate needs, but to create space for healing, dignity, purpose, community, and new beginnings. We are so proud of these guys and can’t wait to keep celebrating the good things happening in people’s lives every single day.
