Every case manager, from every organization. Every volunteer, from every walk of life. Every guest who trusted us. Every community member who offered extra grace. Every shop owner who welcomed us as we cleaned porches up and down Mass Street.
Every police officer who helped de-escalate tense and stressful moments. Every mental health professional who showed up for people on their hardest day. Every paramedic who met someone exactly where they were and provided care in the middle of crisis.
Every person who used their finances to invest in the life of a stranger they may never meet. Every household that looked around their home and chose to share what they had. Every person who shopped our Amazon list, Costco, Walmart, Target, and everywhere in between to help us meet basic needs.
Every person who obsessively tracked data so we could write grants, piece together funding, and keep our doors open. Every strategic thinker who helped us problem-solve when the path forward was not clear. Every church member who prayed. Every contractor who hammered. Every person who painted, repaired, cleaned, showed up, or stepped in when needed.
This is community. We are better together. Always.
